Summary: A crosseyed king, who is hated by his kingdom, is perpetually bullied by a bird. Even in sleep the bird taunts him. While he is having nightmares three paintings - Shepeherd, Chimney Sweep, amd the King - and a statue come to life, and there is explained a love triangle; one where the king must get the girl shepherd.
Night at the Museum then ensues.

Opinion: What is called a French masterpiece of animation holds true to its name. The story is a three part arc, the sound is realistic and true to the nature and style of the animation. Everything feels clean - calm cool and collected, even during the more absurd parts. This animation gives the feeling that it is telling a story, in a very controlled way, than creating a 'living' story that is to be experienced.
