Opinion: Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate how this would blow people's minds that this sort of material was made on computers, in software the general public had no access to. Not exceptional filmography, as this is mainly a showcase for the soft/hardwares used to produce these effects, but still not the worst film on the planet, either. Just sit back and travel through surreal environments, and enjoy it for what it is.
